Description

This distinctive and elegant Planter panama in a Cuenca 3/5 weave has a round flat crown and wide brim, for added protection from the sun. It is more commonly known for being worn by sugar cane plantation workers and river boat gamblers on the Mississippi river.  Also available in Vanilla/chocolate band.

Brim approx 8cm /3¼in

Crown height approx 10cm /4in

    Really pleased with my purchase. First one arrived slightly too large (my fault) replacement arrived within38 hours of posting the large one back! Superb service and one brilliant hat which I am sure will protect my head from the sun for many years!

    It has been many years since I have received such amazing service from such an amazing company.From my first contact on the telephone Jenny was so helpful and went out of her way to ensure me that my husbands Panama would arrive in time for his birthday. In fact 18hours after I put the phone down the hat was delivered to my door.The quality of the Panama the service received in fact everything about The Panama Hat Company was exceptional.     Exactly as described on the website. However if you had a Planter with a blue edge and ribbon that would be even better.

    The planters Hat was excellent, maybe a size too big but my fault.Unfortunately I only wore it once,driving through a Costa Brava Forest whilst taking the car to Spain, unforunately it was taken by the breeze never to be seen again.A Hat to make anyone look dashing in a Cabriolet, even Me! An excellent Panama delivered Super fast.I'd recommend your Panamas to everyone Just hope someone finds it & gives it a good home. Kind Regards Steve Hey

    I wanted a quality Panama style hat that was more distinguishing than the more formal familiar styles. With this fabulous Planter style, I got all that I was looking for & with so much more elegance & panache. I chose the Vanilla coloured one with a Chocolate band - what a superb colour! and the band compliments it perfectly! The material,quality,workmanship & design are truly HAT!TASTIC!
