Description

This distinctive and elegant Planter panama in a Cuenca 3/5 weave has a round flat crown and wide brim, for added protection from the sun. It is more commonly known for being worn by sugar cane plantation workers and river boat gamblers on the Mississippi river.  Also available in Vanilla/chocolate band.

Brim approx 8cm /3¼in

Crown height approx 10cm /4in

    I bought this for my husband's birthday. He is a regular panama hat wearer but likes his very much as a change from convention.

    charming telephone call, most helpful person. item delivered intact and very quickly. beautiful weave, subtle and variegated, and blocked most interestingly, and it fits. my sister says it's "gorgeous". i think the hatband might let the hat down. in my opinion is that it might be too narrow or insubstantial to be in keeping with the rest. stress "might", i am not an expert on hat styling.
