Description

A basic white cardboard travel tube, sized perfectly for storing your folding Panama hat whilst travelling (only).  The only purpose of rolling a Genuine Panama hat should always be for the convenience of travel only and your hat should not be kept permanently stored rolled up, in order to preserve the shape of your Panama hat. (Panama hat in image NOT included with cost of tube) please note this tube is NOT FOR USE WITH ANY HATS ABOVE A SIZE 62 OR AN XXL CAPELINE.

IMPORTANT - Please note:  that this tube is only recommended for use with folding panama hats - folders and ladies (standard size) capelines and NOT our Trilby Panama hats, which are not foldable.

    The tube does the job it’s designed to do. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, so a bit bulky for travelling. I also think it’s quite expensive for what it is.

    It's a tube but an important tube! Looks sturdy and should do the protective job well whilst not taking up too much space in the case.

    This is a cardboard tube, similar to the ones that contain bottles of whisky. It’s just the right size for a panama. It could be a more beautiful object, but it’s inexpensive and functional. Airport security at Tel Aviv asked, “What’s in the barrel?”

    The tube was bigger than expected from the photograph shown by the hat when I ordered on-line. It is very sturdy and will fit into a suitcase without difficulty. I can imagine a few other uses for it too.
