Montecristi Superfino Panama - Simply the finest grade panama possible, the Montecristi is the softest, most pliable and luxurious of all Panama hats. It is painstakingly hand-woven by master weavers in the Montecristi region of Ecuador over a period of months, using the thinnest strands of Paja toquilla straw and is indeed becoming a rare commodity.

    I coveted such a hat for a while but it took me some time but as I like to wear what a buy I thought maybe the hat was too good for me! How wrong I was. I received my beautiful piece of fine art today and was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. The weaver has put their heart and soul into this creation and when you put n upon your head it's as light as cool breeze. I will wear this with my board shorts, business suit and dressing gown! I really don't want to take it off its so wonderful. If your over thinking splashing out stop, you won't regret such a purchase. I will be now looking for others to add to the collection. Thank you Jenny for your passion, advise, communications and for being so very real. Praise to the weaver and long may this artisan skill prosper.
