Description

The Folder Panama (Cuenca 3/5), often referred to as the Colonial is the most classic of all Panama styles.

Woven in a traditional Cuenca (herringbone) weave, it features a distinctive centre crease that allows the hat to roll with ease while retaining its shape. Designed with travel in mind, this timeless piece is ideal for frequent flyers and summer adventures.

Historically associated with iconic figures such as Theodore Roosevelt and Winston Churchill, the Folder Panama remains one of the most enduring and recognisable hat styles ever created.

Also available in a finer Cuenca 8/10 weave for those seeking an even more refined finish.

    I'm very pleased with the hat which seems to stay on in the wind much better than I thought it would. Sizing is difficult and it is hard to know how tight a fit it should be when measuring your head. Mine may be slightly larger than ideal but it is comfortable. Time will tell!

    Going on a cruise to the caribbean shortly so decided to get a panama hat to protect me from the sun, good fit ,prompt delivery,excelant quality and practical.

    The Best Panama Hat

    I have had several panama hats over the years and this (a Cuenca 3/5)is the best. It is far better quality than those sold in the 'big-name' high street stores. For the quality, the price is very reasonable. I also ordered a coloured hat band (navy/claret), which sets it off very well.

    Exactly what the company promised. Good finish - quality all round. An empty whisky bottle tube is just the job for taking it travelling.

    I have always wanted a Panama and so glad I bought this one. Great quality and received good advice on size. I ordered the navy hat band and bought the tube as well so well pleased although a hat box would have been extra nice to have had
