Description

Available with a small brim (5–6 cm) or medium brim (7–7.5 cm), the Down Brim Trilby Panama is one of the finest hats in our ready-to-wear collection.

Often referred to as a Fedora Panama, this elegant style features a slightly wider, flatter brim that sits more level at the back than a traditional Snap Brim Trilby, creating a timeless and sophisticated silhouette.

Lightweight, breathable, and comfortable to wear, this Panama offers excellent sun protection while maintaining a refined appearance.

Handwoven in a Cuenca Fino weave (Grade 20–22), it is available in both Ivory Straw and a darker Natural Straw. While the photographs shown are representative of the style, the fineness and quality of the weave vary between grades, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship of each hat.

As every hat is hand-finished from a very limited edition of Panamas, natural variations in colour, weave, and finish are to be expected.     Excellent quality and delivery, just as I had hoped, however the size ordered difford to my current size hats so just need to find out if I can reduce slightly to fit better. The product is first class and the style I just love.

    I wore my new hat in Andalucia on holiday and felt very suave. This one stood out amongst the cheaper versions. Very comfortable on the head and does keep off the blazing sun. The complimentary lightweight carrier bag is very useful.

    Beautifully made and wonderfully light. I must admit that my knowledge of Panama hat making is limited, but this appears to be the work of a real craftsperson looking at the tightness of the weave and the finish. Thanks to the Panama Hat Company for helping me find the right size, always a bit nerve wracking when ordering by post. Italy here we come!

    I bought this for a birthday present for my husband, excellent. The service was extremely good and the new band was securely fastened. I am glad l asked them to do it. He is really happy with this and can't wait to go to a cricket game next week to wear it

    Following a search of many websites for Panama hats, I came across the Panama Hat Co. From initial telephone enquiry, ordering and delivery was two days. Looking forward to many hot summers to wear this classy hat. Excellent quality, excellent value and excellent service.

    At long last I have achieved a lifetime ambition, that is to own a genuine Panama hat, I must say that I couldn't have chosen a more professional and efficient supplier than the Panama Hat Co.
