Down Brim Trilby - Cuenca 3/5 in Ivory with Black Band

Description

Often referred to as a Fedora Panama, this stylish hat features a slightly wider, flatter brim that sits more level at the back compared to a traditional Snap Brim Trilby.

Lightweight and breathable, this hat offers excellent sun protection, making it an ideal choice for warmer weather. It is woven in a standard Cuenca 3/5 weave, combining comfort with classic Panama style.

Extra Large Sizes:

Please note that sizes 63, 64, and 65 are available in Bleached Panama (Ivory) rather than the semi-bleached shade shown in the photo. These sizes are produced in smaller quantities on special request to our weavers, which is why they are typically priced slightly higher.

For this season, our stock is also made from a higher reference grade, and prices reflect this premium quality.

Please allow approximately one week for larger sizes to be arranged, therefore they are not available for next-day delivery.

    I would have liked an colour option on the band which is black , would loved to have had a mid grey by choice

    Very pleased with both the hat and the company. I ordered it knowing my correct hat size (56) and it fits perfectly. The quality is good, although mine did have a small sharp piece of the straw sticking out in the crown, which I snipped off as it was sticking into my bald head ( ouch ), but really a very small issue. Delivery was very quick from order 3 days I think. It arrived well packed in a box, and has a carry bag. 9/10 from me.

    Gave three stars as do not have a comparison. This is my first hat of any kind. For a £85 hat it fits very well and feels great but is a bit misshapen on crown and front denty bits. there are also a number of minor imperfections on hat that are a bit like loose threads and dark spots. All that said I do really like it and am ignorant to the quality standard of this type and make of hat. So would I purchase another, probably.

    I received same day reply to my queries about the hat, followed by helpful assistance over the phone. I was very pleased with the quality and level of service. It took just a weekend (Friday - Monday) from ordering to receipt, even allowing for a change of hatband. This was the only company I found (including some in USA and Ecuador) which included a luxury satin sweatband, as opposed to leather. Many thanks Panama Hats.

    Hat is lovely, husband very pleased only issue is around carrying as I was informed on the phone it would come with a nice satin bag to carry however it didn't come with it. When I enquired I was informed they don't have bag to fit hat, disappointed
