Down Brim Trilby - Cuenca 3/5 in Ivory with Black Band

Description

Often referred to as a Fedora Panama, this stylish hat features a slightly wider, flatter brim that sits more level at the back compared to a traditional Snap Brim Trilby.

Lightweight and breathable, this hat offers excellent sun protection, making it an ideal choice for warmer weather. It is woven in a standard Cuenca 3/5 weave, combining comfort with classic Panama style.

Extra Large Sizes:

Please note that sizes 63, 64, and 65 are available in Bleached Panama (Ivory) rather than the semi-bleached shade shown in the photo. These sizes are produced in smaller quantities on special request to our weavers, which is why they are typically priced slightly higher.

For this season, our stock is also made from a higher reference grade, and prices reflect this premium quality.

Please allow approximately one week for larger sizes to be arranged, therefore they are not available for next-day delivery.

    My trilby was delivered promptly in safe packaging that contained helpful do's and don'ts as well as some insert in case the sizing was out (slightly too large). Very pleased with the company as well as my purchase.

    I needed a top quality hat to protect me from the sun. After having a chat with the suppliers, who were very helpful, I ordered one of these, and it is excellent in every aspect. Suitability, comfort, style, all five star. I would thoroughly recommend the particular hat and suppliers to all that ask me about it.

    Check the quality of the stitching

    I've already reviewed this hat as the delivery was all good. Since then I've taken it on holiday, and in the airport noticed that the stitching on the brim was coming undone. I'd not even worn it so it was really disappointing. PHC were quick to respond about a postal return for repair, but to be honest by then I'd sewn it myself as I needed it for my week long trip. I've emailed to ask about some money back but no reply. For the price paid I don't think it's good enough - make sure you check the stitching thoroughly!

    My old panama finally bit the dust but has thankfully been replaced by a very nice hat from the Panama Hat Company. My pre sale enquiry was handled quickly and helpfully, delivery was swift and the hat is great. Will buy again.

    Excellent quality, very stylish, purchased a second hat

    Great service on first hat purchased 6/3/22, For your information on the second hat purchased 14/3/22 although the parcel was clearly marked fragile Royal Mail just threw it through the open door and down the hall. Luckily this did not damage this great hat.
