Down Brim Trilby - Cuenca 3/5 in Ivory with Black Band

Description

Down Brim Trilby Panama – Often referred to as a Fedora Panama, this stylish hat has a slightly wider and flatter brim, which is more level than a Snap Brim Trilby at the back. This Panama is lightweight and great protection in the sun and is woven in a standard Cuenca  3/5 weave. *EXTRA LARGE SIZES please note that sizes 63/64/65 are available in Bleached Panama / Ivory colour not the semi bleached shade shown in the photo and usually are priced at a higher price as they are made in small quantities on special request to our weavers. For this season the stock is also at a higher reference grade and are priced accordingly. These larger sizes take approx 1 week to arrange and therefore they are not available for next day delivery. Brim Size = 7cm / 2¾ in      Crown Size = 10½ cm / 4 in  please note this is not a folding hat Need help with sizing?     My trilby was delivered promptly in safe packaging that contained helpful do's and don'ts as well as some insert in case the sizing was out (slightly too large). Very pleased with the company as well as my purchase.

    I needed a top quality hat to protect me from the sun. After having a chat with the suppliers, who were very helpful, I ordered one of these, and it is excellent in every aspect. Suitability, comfort, style, all five star. I would thoroughly recommend the particular hat and suppliers to all that ask me about it.

    Check the quality of the stitching

    I've already reviewed this hat as the delivery was all good. Since then I've taken it on holiday, and in the airport noticed that the stitching on the brim was coming undone. I'd not even worn it so it was really disappointing. PHC were quick to respond about a postal return for repair, but to be honest by then I'd sewn it myself as I needed it for my week long trip. I've emailed to ask about some money back but no reply. For the price paid I don't think it's good enough - make sure you check the stitching thoroughly!

    My old panama finally bit the dust but has thankfully been replaced by a very nice hat from the Panama Hat Company. My pre sale enquiry was handled quickly and helpfully, delivery was swift and the hat is great. Will buy again.

    Great service on first hat purchased 6/3/22, For your information on the second hat purchased 14/3/22 although the parcel was clearly marked fragile Royal Mail just threw it through the open door and down the hall. Luckily this did not damage this great hat.
